What is a virtual office address?+

A virtual office address is a professional address for mail handling and, depending on the plan, official business use. It helps founders, freelancers and companies keep a clear business presence without renting a full office.

What is the difference between Business Lite and Business Premium?+

Business Lite is designed for professional mail receipt and a representative postal address.

Business Premium is intended for an official business address that can be used for company registrations, legal correspondence, imprint details and business documents, subject to review and approval.

Who is the service for?+

It is designed for founders, self-employed professionals, online businesses, small companies and teams that need a professional address in Germany without operating a traditional office.

Can I protect my private home address?+

Yes. A common reason to use the service is to keep your private address out of public-facing business documents and correspondence.

Booking and contract

How does the booking work?+

Choose a location, select a plan and term, submit your details, upload the required documents and sign digitally. After review, approval and payment, the address can be activated.

How quickly can I use the address?+

In many cases the address can be used shortly after successful booking, identity checks, approval and payment. The exact timing depends on completeness of the submitted information.

Which contract terms are available?+

The public plans currently support 6, 12 and 24 month terms. Term discounts, when available, are shown directly in the booking flow.

Are contract documents available in English?+

The website provides English guidance, but contract documents are currently issued in German. Please review the German contract carefully before signing.

Can I upgrade later?+

An upgrade from a lighter postal-address setup to a business-address setup may be possible, subject to the plan, location and compliance review.

Mail and location use

How is incoming mail handled?+

Incoming mail is received at the selected Studienkreis location and stored for you according to the booked service scope and local process.

Can registered mail and parcels be accepted?+

Registered mail, goods shipments and small parcels may be accepted depending on the service scope and local availability. The booking flow shows the relevant plan details.

Can I collect mail on site?+

Collection is generally possible during suitable local opening times after coordination with the location team.

Will my name or company appear on the mailbox?+

For Business Premium, mailbox or signage options may be available depending on the location and approval. The exact setup is handled during onboarding.

Compliance and privacy

Why do I need to submit documents?+

Identity and company documents are needed for compliance checks, contract preparation and correct assignment of the address service.

Is my data handled confidentially?+

Yes. Submitted data and mail handling are processed with confidentiality and data protection requirements in mind.

Can international founders book?+

International founders can start the online process. Availability depends on the submitted documents, intended use, legal requirements and final approval.
